			Edward “Skip” Martin
Owner / Certified Prosthetist /
Licensed Prosthetist (CP/LP)
Skip is a lifelong Memphian who became an amputee at the age of 18 as a result of a motorcycle accident. He went on to graduate from Northwestern University in 1973 with a degree in prosthetics and 14 years later, he opened Precision Prosthetics (in 1987). Skip’s drive, persistence and dedication to his patients are a few of the things that have always set him apart from everyone else. He does not accept a negative outcome.

			Karen Martin
Owner
As one of the founding members of Precision Prosthetics, Karen has been an integral part of the team since day one. Married to Skip, she brings both personal insight and professional dedication to her work—understanding firsthand the impact a well-fitting prosthesis can have on a person’s life. Known for her warmth, compassion, and no-nonsense approach, Karen keeps the office running smoothly and ensures that every patient feels cared for.

Zack and Skip have also taken several cross-country motorcycle trips to raise funds for the Fisher House Foundation, supporting military families living near hospitals where their loved ones are being treated.

			Greg Martin
Certified Prosthetic Assistant (CPA)
Like his older brothers, Greg has never understood why any prosthesis should be uncomfortable. Certified as a prosthetist in 2019, he’s been driven by a clear vision: to help amputees live pain-free through expertly crafted solutions. Greg brings passion and precision to every patient, and he’s excited to help carry Precision Prosthetics’ legacy of comfort and innovation into the future.

			Alex Martin
Certified Prosthetic Assistant (CPA)
Alex is the second Martin son and is committed to helping amputees become as comfortable and active as his dad. In 2003, Alex stumbled into a moment that changed everything—watching his dad craft a unique solution for a challenging case and hearing the grateful thanks that followed. That spark lit a fire in Alex to use his own creative gifts to help amputees feel at home in their prosthetics. Ever since, he’s been one of Precision Prosthetics’ most technically gifted minds, blending innovation with compassion in every design.
